Any clubs/groups near skipton?

Im looking for any clubs or groups who ride regularly in the keighley/skipton area I know of north leeds - just wondered if there was something a bit nearer?

im in Steeton and always seem to be short of riding buddies, generally ride XC locally & dales, calderdale etc most weekends if any interest....

Yeah cheers, im up for that...... always surprises me that there isnt a mtb club based in this area with the abundance of good trails about. Next time your going out, give us a shout!

Hi....

Bit of history round Skipton MTB clubs, there was a very active one when Peter Whites had a bike shop, but after foot and mouth in 2001/02 it folded and with no off road riding contacts were lost.

The Bike Shop in Skipton has now got 2 very good keen MTB'ers and rides are starting to be organised from there.

Oldfield Electrical also have some very active riders and meet at their shop/warehouse Wednsdays, friendly bunch.
