What would be the pro's and cons of using these as a bike lock?

I got one of them steeloflexs, yet to find a lamppost it won't fit round. Still waiting for a chav to have a go at it.

The cuffs look like they'd open with biro top. & maybe your local bike thief is already well aquainted with em?

I was going on the reverse psychology thing, they might think it a trap to see a bike locked up with handcuffs.

It's only going to fit around narrow posts/railings. Here's an idea, buy a fucking bike lock.

Get one of these they may think you're a cop.

Handcuffs may work if you lock the bike to yourself. Can't imagine any thieves wanting to steal a bad tempered goth.

Cons: you'll need a few pairs to secure a bike well if you're leaving it unattended for a while.

I can't imagine that they will withstand much attention from even a small set of boltcrops.

Pros: small and probably light.

You can use them in the bedroom if you superglue some pink fluffy material to the rings.
