Cables are routed internally and sprout out just before the bottom bracket shell

Now how stupid is that?

Double wishbone seat stays blend seamlessly into the top tube

Now how pointless and fugly is that?

The Marin is not dramatic, it's a mess, just compare it with the clean, functional Lapierre. Though even Lapierre run the cables under the BB rather than under the top tube. :-/

The Surley is not bad but I prefer the Dutch, German and Danish offerings with a big box infront. There's a third world bike somewhere on the Net that is just like the Surly but probably a fraction of the price.
