 Just wanted to introduce myself my name is Alan recently got the mtb bug was riding a carrera kracken hard tail. I'm using the trails in Afan forest seen all the gucci bikes and kit and knew I had to have some.Couldn't believe how friendly and approach able people are got some great advice and tips.Went to tredz in Swansea bought myself a Commencal meta 5.5.3 got a great team down there had to get out of the shop before they cleaned my account out.Look forward too seeing some of you if your in the area.

Don't worry about me I'm pretty thick skinned I've called myself stormtrooper because that's what the wife said I looked like when I put on my no fear leg and arm protectors.They are white and black like stormtroopers off star wars. lol

Just come back from afan forest went on the wall route.Can't believe the difference in my riding had a hiccup with my new spd shoes and peddles other than that dh champ.I wish,would definetly reccomend commencal meta 5.5.3 turned me from last by miles into leading the stage and waiting for the rest.can't wait for next week now.

 Storm trooper, keep going past afan, looking for signs to Glyncorrwyg. go there and do the Whites level loop. I prefer it to the wall, as the climbs are a lot more interesting.

Didnt your wifw warn you about meeting men in lycra in forests,rideing bikes, and come the darker nights some will have lights on their helmets.

I went on the white route a few weeks ago on my kracken was knackered after it but really enjoyed.Then tried out penhyd last week totally got the bug,was thinking of getting a motorbike liscence but scrapped that idea and bought the metta.Was buzzing so much last night I even cut the lawn and hedge straight after the ride.Felt so fresh after the wall could of done it again or penhyd,fancy the white level this weekend hope the lads are up for it.
