Hi,

I have recently got back into cycling, and will be commuting to work as of next week. With the darker nights drawing in i thought i better get the lights out again.

Unfortunatly i seem to have misplaced the charger for my set of knightlites. i think they are the Adventure 2200 5W/10W, but im not sure as i brought them about 3 years ago!

I cant seem to find any contact information for the company so i can find out if i can replace the chrger?

Does anybody have any ideas? Or even a old charger for a old set that i could buy?

Thanks

Matt

That is almost certainly a 6v charger for the sealed lead acid battery.  Try looking up 6v SLA batts and look for chargers from the same supplier, Maplins may do that kind of thing.

The later model had a NiMh battery, which will be lighter and smaller, easy to tell apart.

TBH, in the long run, you're better off buying a new LED light or torch of some sort.  An older SLA may not take a charge.  I had one of those large yellow rechargeable torches from several years ago, only to find it won't take a charge at all and had to replace the battery.
