what time would be a good kick off for you, considering that route is 30Ks and the going i guess is going to be slow.

I didn't realise you'd seen me ride?

I have a gps but it's not been quite the same since it got left in a tool box and accidentally soaked it in degreaser It still works but I may have problems uploading routes as I don't have access to a pc to use tracklogs. If I can get it all working I'll let you know. In terms of time I'm completely flexible - I have an 8 month old daughter who doesn't sleep so early mornings are currently not a problem

shall we say starting at 8am? watlington car park, i know some of that area and am sure we can make something up.

don`t worry to much about the GPS, Maps do not worry so much about degreaser, well they do but not waterproof ones.

Actually looking at the route i know 80% and the rest i am sure will be fine.

oh and Alex, what are you riding, do you want nice gental ride on a full sus with wizzy down bits, or lung busting climbs with not so wizzy down bits, basically heavy full sus or lighter hardtail?

I'm on a longish travel ti hardtail so anything really. And I'm as shit going up as I am going down so that won't make any difference

8am at Watlington carpark sounds good, I'll pm you my mobile no. in case of difficulties on the day (I presume we're talking about sunday?)

i think i will bring my hardtail then, don`t like the idea of trailing behind on my 1999 full sus.

yes Sunday was the day i was thinking.

Well that was a bit damp. More like white-water rafting than mtbing at the start but was a good ride. Cheers Serge, hopefully we'll be able to get out again in the future when it's a bit less swamp-like

well it did stop raining, and became a nice day.

only thing remaining were the rivers running down the trails.
