If you are replacing the bearings on a Hope BB, is it possible to upgrade your bb from the stainless steel to the ceramic? PS Don't panic - my stainless bb is still going strong at the moment.

The man from Delmonte, he say YESSSSS!

Hope were very friendly and they say yes you can upgrade when you do a bearing replacement. They also said they don't sell the bearings direct to the public and you have to do your replacement through your bikeshop.

Last time I looked the bearings cost nearly as much as a whole replacement unit.

Oh dear - that doesn't sound too good. I thought the whole point of paying extra for  a Hope was that it could be refurbished cheaply.

Can you not order the bearings directly from a bearing manufacturer?

Do you know what number they have on them?
