As an aside friend of mine ordered 2 from Dealextreme back in August and has now been informed they have none in stock and can't say when they will, and they are offering a refund.

Your mate sounds unlucky.  I ordered some in August and they arrived a couple of weeks later.  Last month I've ordered some more and they're on their way.  I've heard other people complain of much longer delivery times so I'm not sure why it seems to be such a random lottery.

Your mate can buy my second pair of DX lights for ...ooh! Lets say £150!!

well ***THIS*** place seems to also have them, and in stock too. I've just ordered some batteries and charger from them as delivery is quicker than DX it seems...

(unless it's the same company )

ordered mine on the 26/10/09 and it arrived saturday.....

been out every night since with it (bar tonight too much to do)

one think i will say is the charger is crap having seen all the winging about them over heating i stripped the charger down and crimped length of 1.5mm2 twin cable to a UK plug to the PCB

then mounted it in a 4" square water tight box (useing hot glue gun to reinforce cable mountings on the pcb and to mount it to the box..

(glanded the cable entery and exits)

that way it has plenty of air around it and if it does get red hot the watertight box is fire resisting......

(the charging jack wouldn't make a contact either so i replaced that with a better quality one

(but the light is superb doesn't have as much "throw" as i would have liked but meh £50 who cares

hmmm interesting.

It makes me wonder if there's a modded batch as my charger remains as cool as a cucumber. . .

The lights itself is fab . . Plenty of light even for some proper speed on the rocky stuff . The light is surprisingly yellowy though - mine looks like a halogen. . .

I've haven't had any probs with my charger over-heating either.

I wouldn't say my light was yellow though, seems to appear of similar colour (white) to other LED lights - Ay Ups, Lupine and such.

I picked up my second DX light today.  I'm going to mount it on the helmet and leave the other on the handlebars.

Ordered these lights on 10 Feb and they arrived today which was pretty quick seeing I live in Scotland.  Battery being charged at the minute so hope everything will work ok when I try them....!!!
