Broadband here is BIG business and the local providers all make claims to be the fastest/cheapest etc. However, none of the offers come close to those UK and all have a relatively low usage included.

We've gone for a 'Cable' connection which is apparently that fastest but I'd like to do a quick check to see how it performs.

Anyone know any good site where I can check the upload & download speeds?

Sorry, Google does wonderful things...

My upload is 0.12Mbps
Download is 9.24Mbps

The server is apparently 50 miles away...

How would that compare to most others???
