I'm heading to Penmachno in a few days but as I haven't ridden there for about 18 months I was wondering what the trail conditions are like there at the moment.

Anyone got any ideas?

WET

LOL.

Yeah, I kinda guesseed that. It's more a case of "Is it thick gloopy mud, sloppy watery mud or water on rock" kinda thing.

overgrown, frequent muddy puddles, trails masquerading as streams, lots of wet rocks. No thick mud.

Cheers Klunk, think I've already got the bike set up about right then.

there's 50 yards of "bridlepath" on the far end of loop 2 that might be a bit more muddy, but not enough to alter your choice of tyres.

Cheers. Will stick with the Larsens then.
