New Haldon trails...

There is a new red route at Haldon...

erm...well we've been riding it for a couple of weeks now and now it officially open.

funny old trail they seem to have made it exceedingly easy.

The berms have all gone and it's got no technical riding on it at all, it's more like a slightly adventurous family trail, we've been riding it at night mostly and it's really quite disappointing,

It's once again back to trying to create your own runs through the forest, which the Nazi forestry commission have destroyed by putting great big swathes of gravel and branches across the interesting single track.

I'm wondering if the Devon FC are unduly worried because they clearly had the opportunity on these trails to design something brilliant but instead made the Exeter riders have to make their own on woodbury or make the trip to dartmoor.

I have no idea what they're doing...if they made Haldon a decent destination they'd have something awesome, something to rival Afan, but instead they created a nothing ride, to hard for family "Carrera" to easy for a mountain biker.

I'm a little disappointed to be honest...especially after numerous attempts to help with digging trails but only to be left without reply
