Looking for a new front light to add to current cateye EL320. I would like something rechargeable but this is not a deal breaker. It will mainly be for commuting but it would be nice if it could handle off road stuff should the need arise. I know 60 quid wont get me much light but I am sure its do-able. Merlin have a sale on this week so one's I have looked at are cateye single shot or EL530 or Electron 5 +10w system. Anyone recommend one of these or anything else for that matter. electron i am not so keen on as it may be too bright to have both on so it seems a bit silly to only ever use the one of them. Hope Vision 1 is ok but a bit pricey, may stretch to it if it really is the bees knees.
I would be interested in doing any easy modifications of existing lights if any one has any ideas? Not sure about building one like one suggestion but if its easy i will have a go as I am fairly mechanically/electrically minded.
