SO in about 30 days it will be christmas the time of being kind to all,to pig yourself out infront of all the repeats and  films,on the TV, the crap shows, poor weather, and presents you didnt want and dont like, the time of financial strain, and family disputes, drunks you dont know either wanting to fight you or be your freind, carol singers demanding money with menances,,the mother in law staying over, the list goes on.

Has it got anything good going for it,Call me sad,but thats how i see it,Bah Humbug to you all.

Christmas is what YOU make it SB.  There are no rules, there's no right & wrong and there's no need to do any of the things you state.

Jr & friends will exchange gifts and have a bit of a party & the (so-called) grown-ups will venture out for our usual Xmas lunch in a pub/restaurant somewhere.  We'll eat, drink, relax and enjoy each other's company - no pressure, no pressies & no time constraints. After all, if you can't have a good time with friends and family at Xmas then you've summat wrong - IMHO of course.

Surely Christmas is like any other time that you are not at work (apart from all you army/police/NHS/etc staff who have to/choose to work) in that it's your choice to do something that you enjoy or get some benefit from?

You can choose to be a miserable old bastard (SB, natch) or you can have fun with family, have fun with friends, go for a ride, go on holiday... the list is almost endless!!

SO stop moaning and, as Nobs puts it, make it what you want to be to enjoy the time!!

Well Jen, as you are probably aware there are rides and there are 'rides'!

Sorry.......just being juvenile!
