Has anyone else had a problem with these "waterproof" socks. For the first couple of rides they were ok. But now (after about six wearings) they lets water.

No it's not running down my ankles, I can feel it coming through the front on my shoes when riding through puddles and chilling my toes.

My lbs say they will return them to Porrelle for me even though I didn't buy them there.

Anyone else?

I sometimes have moments when I think mine are leaking but my thoughts are proven false when I take them off.

Simple to check though. Fill them up with water and hold them up. Holf the top together and give them a bit of a squeeze.

If they dribble then you can mark exactly with a bit of tape where they are leaking and send them back.

My porrelles lasted ages before a bramble tried to take my foot off at the ankle, and took the sock with it! I could always feel when the socks got wet, but my feet never did, (except when it was running over the top of them).

My sealskins on the other hand have leaked from the start, and the layers are separating around the heels and toes!
