With never ending horizontal drizzle blown in from a force six south westerly.

Ah it takes me back......
I went to school in Truro. Don't know the sulky looking winner of Fame Academy though.

Ste you are better off not knowing....that is all.

Its what would happen if they tried to televise David Blaines stunt on prime time tele.

Not very entertaining.

A cruel mistake of nature
"I told everybody its cool to be cornish, looks like alex is set to become a big star well done."

LMFAO!

As much as I like Cornwall, I'm not entirely sure the words "cool", "cornish", "alex", and "big star" are necessarily psynonymous with each other...
Screw you Steevo! :)

Those of us from the As Yet To Be Recognised Nation State of Cornwall know that Flambards, Tintagel, Lands End, Mousehole and Goonhilly Earthstation all contribute to making Cornwall the King of Cool Counties.

Similarly we are all aware, I think, that Fame Academy launched the likes of that fay scottish tosser and that Irish bird who had a bit of a rock chick voice into stratospheric stardom and world wide musical acclaim!
LOL! :-)

Funny, I always thought Northumberland and Cumbria were the perenial vyers for the moniker of 'King of Cool Counties'.

"Fame Academy launched the likes of that fay scottish tosser and that Irish bird who had a bit of a rock chick voice into stratospheric stardom..." So stratospheric, in fact, that they have yet to return to this planet. Where the hell are they?
The scottish knob was last seen presenting Saturday Morning Live for two whole weeks and then decending into an arguement with his record company which revolved around them wanting him to release a cover, him demanding to release his own songs, them pointing out they were sh*t, he going into a huff.
Teh irish bird released a cover and was promptly swamped in the sea of other mediocre fools vomiting turgid copies of old songs into the pool of modern pop music.
Eloquently put Mr. Cooper.

May "Alex" long enjoy the warm blanket of anonymity that mediocrity and manufactured music provide.

Oh god Flambards....stop this, stop this now, Oh the horror, I can't take it any more. Those days are behind me, I am a different person, I have a career now, please lets not hear another word about that place.........
Your past always catches up with you, OBM!
Flambards was glorious! I went there in about 1996 on a rainy day when on hols with a few mates in Cornwall and we were desperate for something to do - imagine my surprise to find it hadnt changed exhibits in over 12 years since my last visit!

Is fame academy not the best way to ruin a promising career in music?

Alex never had a promising career in music. so i guess she is safe!

If your mentioning all that's cool in Cornwall, don't forget Pirate FM( read as Pasty fm). Sony Gold award winners you know!! god help us!!
Pirate FM pales into insignificance when compared to.......

Plymouth Sound!

Was exposed to the banality of PS for a number of years. I think it's zenith (nadir?) was the Sunday evening God slot. The advertising tagline? "It kicks with life and it's got God written all over it!"

LMFAO!
