Yes, you do get a BB and a ring. Shimano ones. The ring will melt. OK the BB will be pretty good, but overall, nah.

For a hardcore crank, RaceFace have it sewn up, unless you want to go to a Profile set.

The 21st thing wasn't for you, it was for Kato who was suggesting that they were too expensive for soap-dodging students. I had a pair of Prodigy's on my Kona and they were ace, but now that's dead I was wondering whether to transfer them to my DH project or buy new cranks for it (I will be building another XC bike, you see). It does make sense, honest! I guess I'll stick with the RaceFace for now.
