What are they actually like (i.e. any good)? They look damn nice, I'll give them that... but are they any real improvement over, say, RaceFace Prodigy DHs?
It's my 21st soon, I do hope you'll forgive me. Besides which, bikes don't go very far without cranks and even I'll admit that a decent set costs at least £90. Plus with the Saint ones you get a BB and chainring...
The 21st thing wasn't for you, it was for Kato who was suggesting that they were too expensive for soap-dodging students. I had a pair of Prodigy's on my Kona and they were ace, but now that's dead I was wondering whether to transfer them to my DH project or buy new cranks for it (I will be building another XC bike, you see). It does make sense, honest! I guess I'll stick with the RaceFace for now.
