Well looks like Mr.D was right (again). Halo ChoirBoys are complete bobbins! They seem to break away really quickly on fast corners in the dry. Nothing i hate more than feeling my front wheel drifting out at 25MPH! Managed to hold on to things so far so no huge stacks but i don't feel good with them at all. Aint tried them in the wet yet (surprisingly for Fort Bill) and not sure i want to. I shall be replacing them forthwith.
Thanks to Mr.D for the advice, just a shame i'd ordered the things before i heard what you had to say.
thanks for the info, and i'm sorry to hear about the tyres - i've just ordered a maxxis high roller 24 x 2.7, which should be pretty sweet. If u think the choirboys are shite then u should try riding DH on a GT outpost trail with RST 381s and semi-slicks!!! NOT ADVISABLE!! managed to thrash all my mates tho :)
i had an eye accident 2 weeks ago - i was riding down a really narrow track and there was a holly bush all the way across. I looked up to avoid a rock and got an eyeful of holly spikes!! I almost puked with pain. It was alrite the next day tho...
