brother bought a frame
which rockhopper?

my bro just bought a rockhopper frame, it black blue and yellow and disc specific anyone know the year etc.

I had the '02 which was white, but I snapped that and got it replaced with the '03 frame on warranty which is a silver frame. Seeing as the '04 rockhopper pro disc in the shops is black, that frame must be '01 or earlier. There might have been different colour options for each year though?

I think the frame is an `01 but why not phone or take it to Brothertons Cycles in Cradley.They are Specialized dealers and i`ve always found them friendly and helpful. Telephone number is 01384 634522

thanks fpr that, i've had a word with "our kid" and he's got to get a seat post and clamp for it (amongst other things) so he' gonne pop it down to brothertons. i live in tipton (a great place to come from just crap to go back to) our kid lives in coseley so we aint got far to travel

There was Black/Blue/Yellow version of the Rockhopper in 2001, if that helps at all. I could only afford the basic one, so I don't remember the details of that one. The frames are all the same except for some colour/v-brake mounts.

Thats a 2002 Rockhopper Comp Disc frame. The Pro in that year was red/white, i think the comp also came in black/white, forget about the basic model! I'M COOL!

yea we meet on the first sunday of every month at the war memorial.i'm one of the ride leaders. we are a volentary organisation called "cycling in sandwell" and we take all ages out. if you want to come have a look feel free, its open to everyone and cost nothing. you'll recognise me i'm the old one with a camel back mule the young ones my son. anyway thanks to all of you
