I was looking at buying one of these so i phoned orange to find out what they weigh, they told me 2.2Kg for the 16".
Thats about 4.8lb

There not that heavy! I get to do pretty much all I want on mine, even up hill isn't too bad. Its a great bike and I reckon you could build it up pretty (relatively) light if you wanted.
