hi, anyone here use a bike computer, for tracking miles, speed etc, if so what makes are good, thinking of getting one, had no experience of them so no idea what to get,ie wireless or wired?

i have searched google and can only find that model in the states, anywhere in uk sell it?

wow just found them at wiggle.com over £200 to buy, i was thinking more around £50,

cheap and cheerful wireless from halfords,it gives me speed/distance/time/total distance. :-)

Sigma BC1200. You can also get a wireless version. It takes two wheel sizes, so you can switch it between bikes.

Top Peak Flight deck, 4 readings at once, less flicking around trying to work out what the hell your looking at, and a backlight to.

The Sigma 1200 is my recommended buy also. I have had nothing but trouble with various faulty cateyes. The Sigma instructions are not the best and its probably shipped in german like mine was, but it is an excellent computer that fits onto the bike really well.

The TopPeak ones go over the Stem, so they don't waste any room really that could be used for lights.

i think i might go sigma 1200, its got good review and not a bad price from wiggle

I have 6 computers, including several Cateyes and also a Sigma 1200 which is very good (and stem mountable).

The sigma is a good bet. Cateye cordless are OK but are a bit dodgy in cold weather and i get random readings from my cordless 3.

ordered the sigma 1200, wire version, got some reviews say wireless can be trouble.
