I have seen LED lights like the Cateye HL-EL300 and they looked Yellow and I don't want a yellow light, is the HL-EL110 Actually a white LED or is it a "White" LED?

BTW I can find HL-MC200 Front Halogen with 40% is it not possible to find LD600 cheaper becasuse I can save so much on the MC200 its cheaper to buy the LD600 seperately rather than buying a set.

White LED's are white, not yellow, i have never seen a 'yellow' white LED, something is not right with that. Halogen lights are extremely yellow, the battery life and the quality of light is far inferior.

Wait for the EL500 if you want to have a usable beam, think its either going to be £40 or £60, cant remember what the rep said!

Youve lost me Halogen aint yellow, when I looked at the HL-EL300 it was Yellow, ANy way the MC200 is probably Xenon and not Halogen.

I'm stuck between the MC200 and the 500 II

All I can tell is that the 500II can be mounted on top or on the bottom and had the option of an external battery pack, But is there more to it than that because on CRC the MC200 is 40% off normal price but the 500II doesnt seem to be advertised at any discount.

Personally I'd still go for the EL200, every time, as most people now seem to do!

If you really want a halogen one i'd go for the MC200.

I've got all three of HL-EL200, HL-EL300, HL-EL400 and I'd say go for a HL-EL200 everytime, brightness is great and cyclexpress are doing them for about £26 at the moment. Halogens are just poo and eat batteries for breakfast lunch and dinner!

The HL-EL400 is very versatile tho (handy being able to "strap it on" anywhere including your helmet ;)

Any body shed some light on the difference between the MC200 and the 500II?
