Right, I need some new pads for my Julies but there's too much choice. I tried EBCs (greens) once but they seem to disintegrate pretty quickly, although I've also heard that their manufacture quality is variable, so I may just have had a dodgy batch. I'm currently running Clarks which are good and last a long time, but don't seem to have the stopping power of EBCs. I understand that Aztecs are also quite good, and then there's Magura's own.

So, which ones should I go for? Stick with what I know and go for Clarks? Or put my faith in EBC one more time? Or maybe try something new in the vain hope that I'll find a long-lasting brake pad that will also stop me quickly?

I had 3 sets of Clarks last year. 2 were fine and one pair went to the metal in 40miles.

Used Fibrax since and seem more reliable and consistent over the last 12 months

If they're like the one for my C2's they'll be excellent. I've never had probs with 'em.
