Does anyone know if there is a telescopic seatpost around that will fit an 05 A-Line (27.2mm post)?

I've got a titec scoper on my Octane, but they don't make one in a 27.2mm

I get the feeling that it may be too small a diameter to make a telescopic post strong enough.

I'm not planning on doing XC on it (like you'd but it for that!!!!), but i do need to peddle it on the road to my local trails so bent kness aren't really an option.

Problem is, you need to hack a bit of the bottom of the tube to get it low enough to use, which makes it too short to get a decent leg extension!

Arrrgh! Any help would be appreciated......
