bought some of these for my new Easton bars & tried them today for the first time. The result.... ow !

No matter how i held on they were uncomfortable to say the least. Despite wearing qite thick gloves the rubber `cam` effect on my palms was a pain-in-the palm ?

Is it the grips ?
Could I have put them on at the incorrect angle ?
Do I need time to adapt ?

nope, they are simply crap, mine had two or three rides before I admitted to my mistake and they are now located in a dark recess in my bike bits draw

Buy some lock ons (or buy some BG gloves and a BG saddle, then when all of your other bits are hurting, you won't notice your palms as much......!*

I tried & tried to get along with them. Are these the ones that are thinner towards the brakes and thicker at the ends.

I just ended up with sore hands on the thin bits and numb hands on the thicker section.

Now i use lock ons with my spesh BG gloves which have enough 'features' to cope with any numb hands.

i must have made a mistake when i fitted some bg grips as they were quite comfy! i agree that the bg saddle is a pain in the arse but the gloves are ok.

Mine came with the bike. They felt awkward at first, as it seemed harder to get to the levers. But now they are great.
