Bit the bullet and ordered a Nomad today.

I'm hoping to switch all the stuff off my Blur, including the TALAS RLC 130mm travel.

However, I am getting conflicting views on the suitablility of a 130mm fork for this frame.

The other option is one of the Marzocchi all mountain forks which a lot of guys in the US seem to be using on Nomads.

I have ruled out Fox 36's for a number of reasons.

Any views?

130mm is just too short, 140mm Pikes will give you a slightly faster XC ride and 150mm will allow you to give the downhill sections a right good going over.

In a perfect world your forks would have a 20mm axle, and travel adjustable between 140 & 160mm.

Stevie D has them on his, I run them onmy enduro and they are lush.

I was testing mine on Saturday at the same drop at Ae, even manage to cope with the odd dodgy landing as well :-@

Starsky I am selling my TALAS 36s off the enduro as I replaced them with the superior VANS, they are on ebay and ending in a couple of hours if you are inerested.
