that guy is famous (cant remeber his name mind), I saw that on TV if I remember correctly he had to have loads of plastic surgery to repair his legs and back where he had the volcano ash rip his skin and muscles off. He said that he should have died but didnt, the stupid gitt.

is he wearing leather or lycra? if that's leather, then jesus! if it's lycra then he almost deserved it...

I think he had a special suit on for the world speed record on a bike. I know that he really buggered his body up though. He had shed loads of broken bones and ribs, lung and stuff. what a nutter

It looks to me like his helmet came flying off shortly after he went over the bars. Looks like his head got smacked up pretty good.

ahh so this proves that that chappy who did the motorbike assisted jump could have got the speed just by using his bike and a hill :)

It looked like leather he was wearing, if it was lycra he would have serious flesh wounds. When Jarman was towed behind a porsche carrera he said something about if you crash over 60mhp and your not wearing leather you can lose skin at the rate or one inch per second. Looked bloody painful anyway.

I think it looked like that rubbery lycra that they make track cycling and speed skiing suits out of, he did seem to have some body armour on underneath though.
