I need to buy some cycling trousers for touring use. So something breathable/hardwearing/waterproof (if possible)... you know the deal.
However, being 6'5 poses a bit of a problem when buying any trousers, and as usual I'm having trouble finding a pair that have long enough legs to fit me.
So I was just wondering if there are any other tall people out there who have any recommendations?
I haven't bought any trousers but as a general rule the Altura stuff tends to be a good fit for the taller person, I have a couple of jerseys and jackets by them and they are plenty long enough in the sleeve which is probably an issue for you too?
Tim; the Alturas I tried on seemed to fit reasonably well. They were the old 'Ascent' model (now discontinued), so it's just a case of finding some now...
daftpunk, Suguoi stuff does definately sound worth a look, but there's no shops near me that stock it. Because of my height I always have to try stuff on before I buy, so unfortun ately I think I'll have to give it a miss :( Good suggestion though.
Again, unfortunately no Decathlon near me. However, at least I know what to keep an eye out for if I'm in an area with the right shops, so thanks for the suggestions.
My LBS are trying to order in some of the Altura Ascents, so hopefully that's sorted now.
