Yet another bit of kit I now need to buy is some new waterproof gloves.
I'm after some that aren't too thick & hot to ride in all day in mild-ish (Iceland in summer) temperatures, but are still going to keep my hands dry when it rains.
Unfortunately most of the waterproof gloves I've seen are basically thick, hot winter gloves which would be no good for touring in.
Can anyone suggest anything appropriate? Something like a more lightweight Specialized Radiant would be ideal.
I don't know they don't exist, that would make me all-knowing, and whilst my knowledge of bike bits is excellent, it's not that good!
However, as I said I can't see the demand being there, in summer people get wet hands, as it's warm and wet hands isn't specifically a problem, if it's cold you wear winter ones.
It's like asking for a waterproof jacket that's only for summer use, waterproof = warm.
The thinnest waterproof ones are probably Seal Skinz though, may be worth a look.
wet but at 6-7 degrees, which is perfectly possible is cold though, but ime not cold enough for full winters. spesh submerge if you can find them. rated to 0 degrees. and no, you can't borrow mine!
