i listen to everything from katie melua , to ac/dc with a bit of less than jake and reel big fish inbetween
have to say i like pink floyd ... what about trex ? johnny cash ? johnny ramone , bit of ugly duckling and dj shadow .... nothing quite like a varied music taste !
The MP3 player on my phone serves it's purpose pretty well. I've got a 1GB memory card in there which holds more than enough songs to keep me going whichever mood I'm in..
I mainly find myself listening to The Prodigy - although my taste varies and includes Metallica, Gnarls Barkley, Kasabian, System of a Down, Roni Size, Pendulum, High Contrast, Groove Armada, The Kooks... The list goes on..
I can't get my head around listening to music whilst cycling. When I'm in traffic I need my ears. When I'm on the trails I like to hear my friends, the birds and the sound of rubber....so to speak.
I live in West Berkshire. All we get is the sound of a bypass ! Music makes you cycle faster. On account that I don't have transport (other than a bike), I can't get to nice places like the Ridgeway and Peak District. Where i can hear birds. The only birds we have here are pigiens. P
Sometimes music on low is a great thing when out on your own in the woods... But at other times it just gets in the way.
Pete – music is a personal thing! FWIW, I like what you listen to! But then I had Heart (anybody else remember 'Alone'?) in the car yesterday... Power ballads on the M1!
SOAD Rage against the Machine Coheed & Cambria Foo Fighters Clash RBF LTJ Goldfinger Maiden Guns n Roses Strapping Young Lad Wolf Mother Nightwish Pantera Down Etc.
My ipod makes long solo rides much more enjoyable. over 1500 tunes on it, all singles (no shite albumn tracks), every genre you can imagine, so no point listing a few.
Put it on random and ride. Although i admit things like Prodigy make me ride like a looney when they happen to come on.
