I seem to remember a while ago someone complaining about the lack of service from Lupine in the UK. I was having a problem with my Eddison light in that on low beam it would just cut out all the time. LBS here in Germany sent it to Lupine last Thursday and the light is back today with a new housing and a little report of what the problem was and they'd included a free Syntace holder upgrade for the switch as an apology. Seems it's just the distributers in the UK who are crap.

I have a Lupin Edison 5, which when purchased was well on for £500. The first week of use it made a very loud buzzing sound. I returned it to the shop of purchase after 5 weeks made it back to the shop and then onto me. Lupin charged me for the postage. It ran well for the next few night rides then on a wet night, returning to the car I discovered it was 1/2 full of water. It was returned again, this time it made its way back to me in less than a month, to find that the lens was dirty on the inside and had dried on water stains on most of the reflector. A few weeks ago i was on the Dunwich Dynamo and thought it was not that bright as it used to be. On inspection I found the reflector around the bulb to be now totally white and none reflective.... I find contacting Lupin impossible and the only people you can moan at is the shop staff which i feel is unfair..

I think you'll find that it's the UK distributors who are at fault a company called Zyro who also import Cateye and I had nothing but appaling service from them when my old Cateye stadium light blew. Try contacting Lupine direct in Germany stating why you are unhappy with the product.

I have contacted Lupine in Germany. But still have to deal with Zyro. Which means another trip to the bike shop... 20 miles away.

seems the best bet would be to move out of the uk then. Weather will certianly improve.

I've not needed much service from Lupine de in the last 3 yrs I"ve owned my light but what I have had is brilliant service. My bulb was starting to get old, hard to get it started ec (it's used 2-3 times a week). sent it to Germany and had it back within 3weeks

And I'm in the southern hemisphere
