I just got the kit from stans and found an easy way to get them inflated at home. You do need a hope bleed kit to do it, or something with a presta valve and a length of rubber tube. Once the tyre is installed as directed by the notubes site, getting it inflated can be a pig. I removed the black hose from my bleed kit and flushed it with water. I then attatched the hose to my open notubes valve with azip tie for some grip. I then simply fitted the end of my hose to the presta valve on a car tyre. No compressor needed and it works fine. It doesn't matter if the seal isn't 100%. Hope this helps!
oh god, not one of you guys! If I wanted puntures, i'd stick with my inner tubes. I wanted to give them a go. Anyhow, my first wheel took 20 minutes and the second less than 10. It is pretty idiot proof, so I'm not sure what it says about that guy, or yourself!
so much depends on the tyre to rim interface, get a good match and they are defo better, get an iffy interface even using dedicated ust rims and tyres and you wish you had never heard the phrase tubeless, as always its horses for courses and both have there merits although I do think Stans stuff is way over priced.
