My friend wants to extend his hobbies this year.
Despite numerous attemps by myself to get him into MTBing he's decided to become one of those Street Urchins on Small Wheeled Bikes.
The guy's absolutely loaded but only wants to spend around 200 notes.
Something usable as in taking the knocks and falls.
Which mount would your money go on...?

Hoffman Rhythmn wouldn't be a terrible dirt bike or maybe a We The People Bold. Depends really what he wants to ride dirt or street.
Having said that I still ride a Ruption frame which is an absolute stonker! Obviously weighs a tonne but the geometry is superb.

I thought the Street Urchin comment would've been a tad more obvious... :o.
Yeah, he want's to ride street. He's a total novice to biking with two wheels aside from the usual kids stuff from yesteryear.
He's currently hopping around on a bloody unicycle!

Ahh I thought you were just making a general dig at the small wheeled hooded 'yoof'.
Any more spokes and you'd have a harp, someone put your bike on a hot wash etc etc.

Its not you friend Liz is it?
|
 |
He ain't no friend of mine you b@stard!
Besides, I only ride big wheelers if you know what I mean...?

 |
 LOL @ Blackheart.

i reckon one of the best specced complete BMX's for sale is this KHE, about £100 over budget at £299, but a killer package, i reckon, i want one but i would need to get rid of a bike to make space, and can not part with any of mine at present. but i reckon looking at the weight and spec i am tempted.

I've got a bmx in the garage that has cost me around £470 to build! Been built for about a year and only been ridden once on the road (to test it)
good spec includes: Diamondback chromoly frame (dark grey) Primo pro brakes and levers Alex Supra E rear wheel Snafu saddle Aireal lifter stem (anodized red) Snafu bars 3 piece cranks (polished chrome) etc etc...
Can write a complete list of all parts & send some pics if he's interested?

I've got one for sale, was £239 retail but its yours for about £100 depending on postage etc. Very good bike to let someone get into BMXing with. I thought i would use it more than i did (4 times in total if u include the 2 trips to the supermarket). Superb condition. All original kit. check it out here!

Thanks for your replies guys; I've just called him and let him know of the offers. He'll probably check the thread out tomorrow, I'll let you know whether he's interested in any of the deals.

Hans, has your friend got himself sorted with a BMX or is he still looking? If he's still after one, mine is for sale still.
Macs

 Mine isn't for sale. :-)

Macs - I spoke to the bloke a few days ago: he's still interested and will let you know as soon as he's made a decision. I think he's looking at a few others also.
I like the look of yours BTW, might take it meself if he doesn't. I'll ponder it some more...

Hans, it does ride very well, i wish i used it enough to justify owning it but i simply dont. I took that pic in October after giving it a once over and a bit of a clean (which it didnt really need but made me feel better about passing it on to someone if it were spotless) but have never riden it since, not even thought about riding it. here are some more pics of the bikeWhere are you based, i am in Nottingham/Derby and maybe could come to some deal over delivery.

I'm in Bucks. If I decided to take it I'd drive up and collect it; you're only up the road really... ;o)

 |
Thanks for the extra piccies BTW, does look nice...
