Hi I've fitted a carbon seatpost and am having trouble with it slipping down. If I change to a non quick release seat post clamp does any one of what torque I can do it up to as I'm worried I might crush it. Cheers.

What kind of frame is it? Alu frames are supposed to be notorious for carbon seat post slippage. Did you use grease on the previous seat post? It could be there was some residue left causing the post to slip. As for how much torque to use check the manufacturers website for torque settings or the bumph that came with the seatpost.

You can get some special Grease ( little rubber balls suspended in ) from Pace and somewhere else aswell that stops Carbon from slipping, sure someone will be on with a link soon.

I can't find a Pace link but Scott do one. It's used to stop seatpost's slipping in carbon frames but it may be ok for you.

edit. Or Tacx Carbon Assembly Paste

Pace's 'Pink Snot' is not currently available, according to the whatmtb forum.

If the grease doesn't work you could try lightly sandpapering at the contact point, any scratches are out of sight so no harm done.

Worked for me.

Put the bolt of your clamp opposite the slot in the frame, this will reduce the chances of crushing the post while allowing you to tighten it as much as possible. You could also try some hair spray on the post to stop the slipping.
