On behalf of a mate :-

What full sus frame would you guys recomend for general hard riding. He currently has a rocky mountain RM7 and finds its too heavy. The main reason hes getting a new one is because the rocker needs replacing, and he doesnt like the amount of travell it has. It has 170, im sure y'all know that, but he finds its too much. He wants a "slope style bike". A frame that is built around a talas 07 36, needs to be able to relatively big hits, jumps and ride dh well. He was thinking of a Transition bottle rocket, or possible a RM slayer.

What do you guys reckon ?

Slayer, Spesh SX trail or perhaps the New, even beefier Reign X range?

To be honest I've not heard brilliant things about the Slayers; I could be wrong though (it has happened)!

I would go with the bottlerocket every time! Less travel than a SX but they are suppost to be amazing fun to ride
