Anyone tell me what size seatpost and front mech size for a Merlin Oreas frame. I can't find any info even on the Merlin website.

They used to be 27.2, but I've a feeling the XLMs went to 31.6. Front mechs changed from 31.8 to 34.9 around the same time.

How old an Oreas? The changes to the XLM happened when they went from 3al 2.5v to 6al 4v titanium, if the Oreas is still 3/2.5 it may be 27.2 and 31.8.

American Bicycle Group import them, ask them.

It's an 06. I've been told the seatpost is 31.8 and the mech is 34.9. Cheers for answering.

Seatpost will be 31.6, not 31.8 guess they changed at the same time as the XLM.

The front mech will definitely be 34.9.

yes he does mean 31.6 as thats the answer that was given on stw.
