I was going to go for a Sanderson life or a Charge Duster. It's swings and roundabouts, just get one you like the look of best and FWIW I don't know why people discount aluminium, a well designed aluminium frame can be comfortable, my old 04 cindercone was a joy to ride and I used to ride it for 100km events.
If you can get a look at a Sanderson in the flesh so to speak, they are beautifully machined and the rear end is rather sexy too. The 853 version is saving you 1/2lb over the regular steel frame.
the only problem i have with the bike is the seat post keeps slipping down my bike was built with most of the parts from my cannondale jekll as i upgraded
