Just found my Kona Fire Mountain that I bought in 1994. My first ever steed. It's going to be my new pub/bbq bike. It has a knackered headset, BB, and the paintwork is a bit goosed in places. Anyone got any idea which headset and BB would be good? Anyone got any other ideas?

I had the CinderCone,a really nice bike 'twas.

Dont bother buying new stuff!just lag it dude its only going to get trashed when you crash in the hedge pissed up.

I'm hoping to go second hand for everything. I'm a poor student so don't have cash to splash.

Mines a 1994, so waaay different from yours. for a start it's made of steel. I nearly pissed my self laughing when I saw the length of the stem on it this week.....it has straight forks though, so the stem is a good idea. the head tube is also longer than the Forth Bridge. Makes me wonder where all the gubbins are on my Reign.

I bought it from Sunset Cycles in 1994 when I was on placement from University down in South Wales. Some of the riding down there was awsome back then, but I hear it's even better now.

It intorduced me to biking though and it was a great bike for that. I can't wait to re-try it out in a month or two when the project is finished.
