Anyone find a benefit of using lizard skins (or similar bodged seal) around fork posts?
Any draw back other than the obvious aesthetic?

I believe they will successfully trap & hold all sorts of shite on your stanchions & help destroy your seals quite quickly...

I believe they work better for dry dusty conditions, but in the wet you'll get a nice sticky paste to mess stuff up.

Good for rear shocks, headsets and dérailleurs as long as you remove and clean after every couple of rides.
