ive got them and ive also got bar ends on them and so far havent had any problems with them. theyre the only carbon bars ive had that have stopped my hands going numb and ive tried a few.
Which bar end do you have Jeff - Were there any problems attaching them given they are carbon bars? I know the are re-enforced but you still have to be careful I guess?
ive got some token carbon bar ends i just tightened them up till they were tight and wouldnt move then tightened them a touch more for piece of mind, one day ill get round to getting some decent bar end plugs but so far ive had no problems. fairly flexy though!
Hmm, carbon bars, I'm really not sure about 'em. Been very wary about getting some since one mate snapped a set and then the bloke who runs Mojo scared me to death by asking whether you'd rather be impaled by a carbon or alloy bar if you stacked 'big time'. The fragmentation of carbon components, or the potential thereof, is sommat that I find disturbing...............says the man with a set of RC31s - am i being irrational? I dunno.................................
Carbon bars are a must have, you'll never go back once you've tried em' safe as houses these days. Get the Easton CNT, they are the highest quality carbon, trust me I'm in the know.
