Aldi are selling cycling stuff this Thursday, some bargains to be had!

Not bad stuff generally speaking.  Especially if you don't care about 'designer labels'.

Avoid the padded shorts though.

Buy cheap and have some cash left over for the recession, or to help Shell increase their profits even more.

The sunglasses I bought from Aldi did not last long.

I left them in a hotel!

What's wrong with the shorts Slidey Arry, was going to buy a pair.

sox are terrific,

they even tell you which foot to put them on

The short liner was crap.  No padding and made of a fabric similar to brillo.

Ouch!

Got the L and R socks already

Got a pair of socks lasted 2 rides, one of them puled apart any one legged cyclists out there ?

i bought there big longs at the start of winter , number 1 , the come to mid calf at best , must be worn over the top of real shorts to avoid the brillo pad and i reckon i could fit the missus in the front of them .... they are size wierd , large was too short , but simultaneously for someone considerably fatter than i .... about a 40inch waist would fit in them !

Which sock fell apart? Left or right?

Perhaps we could have a soxcks-swapmeet, to make up ideal pairs for those who are small, medium or large, or have two left feet or two right feet or have one foot shorter than the other or any other odd permutation!
