Reviewing a merida days after everyone was bitching about them, but it gets a very positive review, stick a rp23 on the back and that's a good bike.

I'd definitely think about getting one as a second bike - they're excellent value for money and they're good bikes (apart from the 7 and a half grand nonsense)....

You think that's value for money. Check out the proper four bar Horsts from Canyon and Vortrieb at £1200 (1500e).

It's true Canyon sell here, and the spec they manage is crazy, fow forks, full xt etc. The press for them is pretty much the same as for the Merida above, solid spec if unexciting, yet they reide well.
