nah, i'll raise you with an XT. half the price, work just as well and go on forever (let's not get into this debate again, xtr's nice, but for fit and forget purposes, i'd go XT)
hope pro2's easton bars - (keep it alloy only though, there's a lot of light alloy stuff about) thomson stems and seat postslock on gripsXT rear and front mechI'll add:Mavic 717 rimsFox RP23 rear shockNew XT drive train completeHope M4's - with sintered padsOh and if you have a new bike - take it apart and rebuild it again with grease this time, not the Ghost stuff manufacturers put on
Hope Pro II - Mine (rear) has required a rebuild (All bearings) in less than 12mths.
Hope XC front hub is the best i have seen for reliability. Saintly has a set which i think are something like 8yrs old and they are still fine.
Rockshox forks - Ummm, dont forget about them as they wear out quite quickly if dirt gets in them seals
ODI Lockons - I have lost count how many of them little bolts i have rounded off
My most reliable kit has been
Easton bars/stem
Hope stem
Hope Headset
Kenda Blue Groove Tyre. I swear i have had two lifetimes use out of this tyre. It hardly ever punctures and it grips (Still) like shit to a blanket in all conditions.
