I'm going to buy some new brakes and have noticed that some front brakes mention "20mm" adapters. Now, I have a Fox 36 with 20mm bolt-thru but have always used standard front brakes.
Can someone explain what the relevance of this "20mm version" is please?
Dan, some through-axle forks have the standard IS mount but further outboard than usual, so you need a thicker adaptor to move the caliper back across - I had this with some Z1 SLs a couple of years back.
And everyone else - if someone asks a perfectly legitimate question, please don't take the piss. Thank you.
