No need to be nervous thinking it will be sticky it is sticky.
There will of course be the usual bits of road section and some rocky bridleway too but the open fell is one giant sponge at the minute. Mud x's and trailrakers will be order of the day.
Wetheriggs Pottery is nice for a Sunday visit, just down the road from Lowther with a very good Cafe. The Queens head at Askham would also be a nice place to spend Sunday. Getting muddy is the only other option, its hammering it down outside my office window at the moment.
S'ok, I spoke to him last night, he should do the 100km I reckon. I can't make it unfortunately, plus I'm not fit enough to do the 100km at the moment, next year though.
