Well Brown wil be gone before christmas so who do you think is suitable, for me Jeremy Clarkson, Steven Fry, or James May, and not forgeting Mendleson.
failure is always congratulated in this country, who ever heard of a failing teacher, politician, dr ,etc getting the sack, they get promotion, or early retirement.
Neil, I'm with you, he's alot less smarmy that that idiot Blair, seems quite intelligent for once, he's just been dropped in the shite, the recession / economic situation, isn't in anyway shape or form his fault, but still he's getting blamed, not fair!!
Of course its his fault he was chancellor in the build up to the current disaster, during that time he could have taken action to slow the housing market bubble, and made credit more difficult to attain. This hasn't just happened overnight its been coming from for a long time, I suspect that nothing was ever done because it looked good in the short term, and they didn't expect to be in power for so long so hoped that they could blame it on the other lot.
Over the medium term the UK will suffer more than most European countries due to the fall in house prices that people have remortgaged to the hilt, and due to the lack of employment protection meaning that international organisations will get rid of the UK workforce first.
