As I said......................................................................
Y'can have my old XTC frame if you want to build up a commuter, sharpish. Erm, got the seatpost, 90mm stem and original bars knocking about somewhere too.
I know but £50? It's not much, just a kind of charity thing going on you know in the run up to christmas...I don't know...It was just a thought, didn't mean to offend anyone.
Awww..shit...I appreciate the sentiment but it's nae bother. I'll get two new bikes on the insurance, I need one each for me and the missus. It will have to be a couple of do it all hard tails for trail riding, commuting and touring. Like I said the bikes were insured (Prophet and Handjob) but for £1500 and £1000, not their full amount to keep the premium down, just the amount I thought I could get decent replacement bikes for. The Prophet had just had a £250 shock fitted which I'd ridden once!
Oh well, my riding was heading in a different direction anyway, next year was going to be more touring focused. So I might get a couple of P7s or similar built up for me and the wife.
Again, thanks for the concern, just send me some whisky if you must
Sadly Bhb , what started off as a good idea, is not practical, as most of us have got 50 quid spare, but as per usual pople have offered parts to make a bike for Karlos.
