 That Flash looks butt ugly.

The flash is stunning (would be better in white and moto green)
Sorry BHB, The flash looks gash.
What should I buy then if I want a better looking 16lb hardtail?
oh wait, that was'nt carbon why do you want a hard tail that light for?

better looking 16lb hardtail? Scott Scale, Spesh S-works trouble is they are all so bloody Garish. I believe all bikes should come in plain colours, with a sticker pack so you add them if you want.
why do you want a hard tail that light for? Because light bikes are the best.
yeah, but not that light... this looks alright

Why can't bikes be built with straight stubes anymore
That cannondale looks like every other cannodale i see. They just have different colours scemes. Most light race mtbs are garish due to the very fact that they are race bikes and are aimed at high end riders who get their bikes noticed
...and have no fashion/aesthetic sense other than 'garish gay fluro'
Seriously though I would love a 16lb hardtail. That is half the weight of my full sus!
 straight tubes are boring
 Straight is the new gay.

JEY BOY Number 27.
Even the S-Works hardtail can't come near the Flash in terms of weight, and that bog standard one's about 24lbs! I like it, maybe not aesthetically, but I like what Cannondale are doing.
It does look very unbalanced with the oversized headtube and the skinny rear stays. But look at the Subura Impreza, ugly as sin but sells on performance.
 Oh! How jey!
*Minces off*

It'll be interesting to see, as their FS bikes aren't that popular amongst XC whippets, I wonder if this will change it. I'd still be tempted to buy a Be-One Blue, £700 frame, and <1000g. You could nudge 16lbs for the same money as the top Flash.
are any of their bikes popular?
