 Although I am ashamed to admit it, of late I have been straying over there *points towards STW* , viewing the (quite often amusing but not intentionally) threads and even posting a bit... ..but this is only due to the lack of Hot Forum Action over here... what's happened? This used to be a fun place, we used to have fun.. remember? I don't want to but I may be forced to drag up some old threads from the "goold ol' days of 2006/7" unless something changes soon.. save me ta

 It's content (or the lack thereof) isn't it? Whatever anyone posts on BM degenerates into drivel in about... well, it took this thread ten posts. I gave up on BM for the entire Summer and didn't miss it one single bit. I only started posting to try and get our local Thursday night rides going again. And FWIW I don't think STW is much better. It seems to be largely populated by "Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells" types.

It's true that the forum has quietened down, but I also sense people seem to respect differences of opinion much more than previously were threads often degenerated it slagging matches.

 I must admit I take a look in here periodically now, where I used to reside here semi-permantly. I go to STW to talk about bikes, and here to talk to nice people I like. Simple really.
