The nice thing about it is that you can decide the impact level needed to open the floodgate and let the fork move.
I'm pretty big and use a Revolution with poploc. I lock the fork if I want to give it some. E.g get out of the saddle and sprint.
I have adjusted the floodgate so that it will stay almost locked but will allow the fork to give if I hit a root etc.
You could also set it with a less threshold (the force needed to open the floodgate) and use it as a sort of pro pedal.
Great stuff for a £200 ish fork.
