Message: Flippin' heck. I've never had online attention like this! Cheers for all your comments and the front page! Yeah, it was messy. A night ride in January. Had been riding for about an hour with no problems at all, and was on last (very easy, straight, fire trail) 25mph downhill home. One minute there was a front wheel, then there wasn't. Weird. My error? Bike error? Disc error? Who knows. 3 hours in Northallerton casualty (top nurses - cheers!) getting glued and stitched together, and a massive thanks to Ian and Anna Z-Smith for sorting me out! Oh yes, I get married in May. I've been banned from riding for four weeks before by the missus....wonder why....?!
